Finding Your Unique Selling Proposition…

You’re an affiliate marketer… or you’ve found out that this is one of the easiest ways to get a business started on the net? But why would you decide to try to sell something that countless thousands of other affiliates are also selling?  Even if you will be battling with 10 million other affiliates, you can still manage to be in thelead.  How?

Let me show to you the secret of the leading affiliates on the net today.  This enigma is, basically, what catapults them to the summit of the ranking.  It’s called the USP, a short form for one of the most vital weapons in marketing:  the unique selling proposition.

The unique selling proposition is composed of three words: 1) unique; 2) selling; and 3) proposition.

The USP should be unique.  It should signifiy that it’s something that you – and YOU SOLELY- will be staging.  No one else should advocate for the same concept. The ultimate aim of the USP is to sell, to make a profit.

The USP is a proposal, a bid, the major message that you will submit to your prospective consumer.  Therefore, the USP should be something they will find tempting.   If you present your affiliate products with a wonderful USP, people will choose to buy from you instead of buying from other associates selling the same goods.

Formulating your own USP… all you have to accomplish is to produce variations to your offer that your prospective consumer will want.  Is it a discount for the next few days?  Have you included a special “bonus” product with it for a limited time.  What else would your target market appreciate in the ways of extras?
